Forest Live Wallpaper 9.2

To those of you who have sent me emails, I apologize for not being able to respond to all of them. Due to time and energy constraints over the past few years, I have been unable to keep up.

Starting from December 21, 2017, my OpenWeatherMap account will be suspended because the number of requests using my API key has significantly exceeded the free subscription threshold of 60 calls per minute. If you need weather sync, you will need to use your own API key for now.

Forest Live Wallpaper is a pleasant and calming wallpaper featuring trees swaying in the wind and a sky that gradually transitions from dusk till dawn. To fully experience its features, make sure to go into settings and enable options such as weather, multisampling*, or the 3D parallax effect*. Please note that not all devices support these features.

Troubleshooting

How do I use this wallpaper on my lock screen?

You need to have a lock screen that supports live wallpapers as a background, such as Locker Master. You may need to enable this feature in your launcher settings. When setting a wallpaper on devices like the Galaxy S6, you can choose whether to use it for your home screen, lock screen, or both. The one shown in the screenshot is part of the ROM CyanogenMod.

The screen is too dark at night!

There is a color setting called Night-time multiplier that you can adjust to make the trees and hills brighter at night. This isn't a perfect solution, but it will suffice until I eventually add a fix.

The weather is wrong! D:

Ensure that you have set a location in the location settings, and then check if Recent weather data (accessed via the menu in the weather settings) is available, up to date, and for the correct location. If not, the weather provider may simply not be accurate. However, now you have the option to change the weather provider.

Used for fetching weather data from OpenWeatherMap and ForecastIO. This can be changed in the settings and is turned off by default.

Used to obtain approximate location information, which is then utilized to fetch local weather data and calculate the sun's elevation.
